Recently, news has repeatedly reported the happenings concerning the Korean Christian hostages who were captured and are being killed slowly one by one. The merciless killing pains me as I continue to hear the news about the Korean hostages. The Taliban terrorists were merciless beyond my imagination. The very idea of killing innocents with no apparent rhyme or reason pains me to the core. The Taliban terrorists were simply too much. The Koreans Christians had done nothing to invoke the anger of the terrorists. Moreover, using hostages as blackmail to force another government to do something is simply underhanded. The very thought of this disgusts me.
Don’t they have the slightest bit of morals or principles? Do they feel no shame or pity or even the slightest surface of sympathy? Have they not thought what would happen if they were one of the Korean hostages who could only wait for their deadline? What of them? Are they subhuman? What wrong have they done to deserve such injustice and unscrupulous behavior? It is beyond appalling!
If it were possible, I would rather the government of America did something about the Taliban terrorists’ horrendous actions. If it were possible, I also wished that the American government would be able to rescue the hostages, instead of letting them get killed one by one, until all are dead. Is this what the Taliban terrorists want? I hope not. What I would hope is, that when the Taliban terrorists realize that the killing would not make the American government oblige, they would just release the prisoners, as slim as the chances may be. I sincerely hope that this would not worsen any further, and that the hostages may soon be released to be together again with their families.
With the recent cruel things like this getting more rampant throughout the world, it is getting pretty obvious that the moral standards and principles people live by are slowly getting worse and worse. Nowadays, with the media and internet spreading such violence throughout the world, it is scary to consider the possibility of one of us actually being one of the victims of these assaults and kidnapping.

For sure you feel very deeply about this matter. However, you might want to curb some of the rather emotional expressions e.g. 'The very thought of this disgusts me.' I do like what you say at the end - yes, it is indeed scary to consider the possibility of one of us actually being a victim.
