Spare a thought for the people!

After seeing this article, I realize how much the society of today has deteriorated. With the years going by, the society has degraded much in one of the basic social make ups of a person, basically, the values or morals of a person, which I think, is one of the most important components of a person.
Through the recent “hoo-ha” over the big NKF thing, over the major leaders in the National Kidney Foundation, I am shocked and appalled at the morality of these people. Of all places to embezzle funds, I feel that taking away the money which people actually donated for the good of other less fortunate people who had financial difficulties and medical problems is the worst place to embezzle funds. If this were to happen in every charity organization, nobody would ever want to donate anymore! Then what would become of these organizations, and more importantly, what would become of these unfortunate people who are less privileged than most of us?
These unfortunate people are much more in need of these charity funds compared to us? Then these people who are in charge of the charity foundation, what is their purpose? What is their reason for taking up these high-up positions in these charity organizations?
For the good of the less fortunate? OR FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL MONETARY GAIN? This problem is a major problem as it depends on the morality of a person and his values, which I have stated before as the most important components of a person.

These people corrupt the community. But thankfully, now the government has implemented much priority in value added learning, which, hopefully, will be benefiting to the community and will result in better Singaporeans who know what to do, and how to do it right, and in the right manner/

I honestly hope that these people will be rightly dealt with, and that they will get what they deserve for betraying man other Singaporean’s trust and good thoughts. Let us spare a thought for the less fortunate, not betray their hope! I hope that there will be less of such happenings and Singapore will be a better place.
